Think VIEIRA has done a great job.
From a dull team with lots out of contract and totally dependent on Zaha to a much more entertaining team with Olise, Eze & Gallagher.
Lets see how the second season goes presumably without Gallagher

Re: The Premier League Player of the Season - Jarrod Bowen has been nominated
I agree that it's a low bar, but your entire reasoning why he's a bad choice could as easily be directed at Howe surely?

Really, these nominations shouldn't come before the end of the season because the last 2/3 games could make things look a lot better or worse for them mid-table clubs.

Re: The Premier League Player of the Season - Jarrod Bowen has been nominated
They finished with 44 points under WOY, and they've got 44 points now, so they're hardly going to finish miles above what WOY achieved.

Who knows what old while man WOY had going against him if Viera is seen as a manager of the year nomination.

Those 'facts' do not make him worthy of nomination, Nage.

The bar has never been as low for anyone else.

Well, I just explained it for you. That you can't grasp simple facts is your problem.

Re: The Premier League Player of the Season - Jarrod Bowen has been nominated
Give it a rest, Nage.

Palace splashed good dough, bought about 5 strikers, and are mid table, where they normally were under Woy. It's very peculiar why he got nominated, almost unexplainable.

Nagel 6:05 Fri May 13
Re: The Premier League Player of the Season - Jarrod Bowen has been nominated
At the start of the season Crystal Palace were 4th place in the relegation odds and Viera was favourite to be first for the sack. Palace reached the FA cup semi-final and could well end up with their highest ever PL finish. I think he deserves the nomination, more than Howe.

Well pound for pound "Value for money" player of the Season would be Dawson.

Biggest waste of money player should go the Harry Maguire.

Agreed, him and Frank over Moyes is very weird. When I read the write up on Viera surely the Wolves manager suited those words better.....and a higher league position.

JWP in our team is interesting

Re: The Premier League Player of the Season - Jarrod Bowen has been nominated
Rice and Bowen should be on the list.

Outstanding, both of them, this season.

JWP is a sop. Son was criticised earlier in the season for an apparent loss of form.

Other than that, it's the same old horses in the race.

I tell you what is strange, Patrick Viera being included in the manager of the season nominations.

Rice should be ahead of Bowen.

KDB should win.it.

Saka is a penalty missing, cheating, diving cunt.

How Rice isn’t in there is a joke.

Son will win it and every pundit will tell us again how he is underrated for the 1000th time.

Another diving cheating cunt, add Salah to that list as well.

Good that Bowen and JWP got a nod but clearly will go to a “big 6” team player.

Funny how the BBC's article is essentially 'Salah and De Bruyne nominated- oh and some other players too but don;t worry about them...'
